Natural and Synthetic Upper
Providing your feet with a comfortable, warm and breathable pair of shoes, the Trek Evo Mid's utilise a combination of natural fabrics and synthetic materials, therefore encasing your feet in a comfortable layer of protection. The natural and synthetic fabrics facilitate feet with an optimal level of warming, for cosy feet and great moisture management with the help of the usage-specific characteristics. This will also ensure feet remain dry, due to their ability to rapidly remove sweat or moisture from your skin and out through the construction of the fabrics. Due to their structural design, the shoes have a smooth outsole which means the shoes are also exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, synthetic features are strategically placed across the shoes. These fabrics are primarily used for their durability, and abrasive resistant properties, allowing your feet to remain protected, and your shoes to be long-lasting. The shoes have a Gore-Tex lining providing you with a high level of reliable waterproof protection during wet or raining conditions and have a windproof guard for ensuring feet remain cosy. The shoes have a padded collar for ensuring your feet remain comfortable inside the shoes, accompanied by a two-zone lacing system. The two-zone lacing system ensures the forefoot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing zone, so that the shoes can be easily adapted to the anatomy of your feet, and laced differently depending on whether you're in ascent or descent. Finally, these laces use an X-Lacing technology, which secures. the tongue both vertically and horizontally, further making the shoes perfect for any type of foot. This lacing system ensures that the pressure of the laces is transferred not just to the hooks, but to the tongue as well.
DynaPU+ Midsole
Lowa DynaPU+ is used through the midsole of the Trek Evo GTX Mid's and is a specially developed foam padding. This construction plays a key role in the rolling properties and the cushioning of the footwear. This new DynaPU+ offers even better recovery behaviour thanks to its special cell structure. This, in turn, creates an improved rebound effect for athletes, and even with constant use, the recovery behaviour does not lose any of its high-performance qualities. The Trek Evo's have a PU Mesh insole providing great cushioning properties, and lightweight, functional flexibility for your feet to remain comfortable. Additionally, the mesh construction is created by interwoven threads, and due to its special design, the fabrics are particularly permeable to air, has a special moisture-regulating quality and is easy to care for, breathable and crease-resistant. This combination of fabrics ensures exceptional cushioning and total comfort.
Vibram Rock Trac Sense Outsole
Providing you with traction on versatile terrain, the Trek Evo Mids utilise a Vibram Rock Trac Sense Outsole. This outsole is totally durable, ensuring you are supplied with a pair of shoes that is long-lasting and has an optimal grip on surfaces such as wet or slippery ground. The outsole has been outfitted with triangular studs and the multidirectionally arranged profile ensure that you can use this cemented and resole-able model to take on challenging tours with ease.
