LOWA Tibet EVO GORE-TEX High Walking Boots

Part of the Tibet Evo family, this boot is a taller 10" version of Lowa's toughest Trekking boot. With a full rubber rand and Nubuck leather upper, the Tibet Evo GTX Hi is a boot built for life in the wild.

GORE-TEX Upper

Providing feet with optimised breathability, waterproof protection and extreme comfort, the Tibet EVO High Walking Boots have been created using a Nubuck Leather Upper, alongside a GORE-TEX membrane. Providing feet with comfort and cosiness when wearing, the Walking Boots have a durable Nubuck Leather upper, which not only keeps feet shielded from the knocks and bumps of the trails but also provides excellent next-to-skin comfort, due to the limited stitching present through the construction. The boots have a GORE-TEX membrane to provide your feet with guaranteed weather protection, even during heavy rain or snow. This innovative technology is permanently waterproof, highly breathable and windproof shielding you in changing conditions. A wrap-around rubber rand also protects the boots from being damaged by sharp rocks and knife-edged glacier ice. Enhancing the flexibility of the upper and allowing your ankles to bend more naturally when wearing, the boots utilise LOWA's FlexFit technology. This allows increased ankle movement due to the integrated "FlexZone" and flexible Lace Loops. This saves energy and increases comfort. Working alongside this, the boot's eyelets and a flexible lacing hook are utilised to improve your heel comfort and facilitate the natural bending of your feet. Additionally, the boots have a C4-Tongue system, specially designed with extra padding and adapted to the anatomy of your foot, to provide you with a soft, comfortable wearing experience. This works alongside the 2 Zone Lacing construction with an X lacing system providing a perfect fit and feel and ensuring the shoes adapt perfectly to the shape of your foot. This therefore helps to prevent in-shoe slipping and keeps feet secure when wearing.

PU Midsole

To ensure optimal underfoot cushioning and extreme comfort levels, the boots utilise a stiff PU midsole. The cushioning absorbs impact when striking down onto changing terrains below, whilst is also highly durable. This compound helps reduce injuries and discomfort when enduring the trickier paths and keeping feet more comfortable during long pursuits. Due to the stiffness of the midsole, the boots have a high degree of rigidity, offering good support even when subjected to stress. These are also suitable for lightweight strap-on crampons, which don't require a front or rear welt.

Vibram Apptrail Divo Outsole

Completing the Tibet Evo is a Vibram Apptrail Divo outsole that offers traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound provides an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Made with two PU layers of different hardness, the shoes provide the cushioning you need below the heel and ball of your foot. It also supports your foot and improves natural rolling properties thanks to its slightly curved shape. Furthermore, multi-directional lugs adorn the outsole and provide flexible and sticky traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents. The lugs ensure additional support and stability so you can continue with complete confidence that your footwear will support any outdoor adventure.
