GORE-TEX Upper
The Kento Advanced High GORE-TEX has a nubuck leather upper to supply feet with support, protection and optimising comfort. The hard-wearing materials are made from sustainable terracare leather, meaning a minimal consumption of resources for a more eco-conscious choice of footwear. On trails and long hiking explorations, the uppers protect feet from scrapes, bumps and scratches thanks to their super durable nature. The leather is also treated with a DWR finish to keep feet dry, whilst the quick-drying properties prevent a build-up of uncomfortable sweat and moisture, for a dry, fresh sensation. The shoes feature a GORE-TEX membrane to provide optimum protection in changing weather, including wet, soggy conditions. The waterproof lining ensures feet stay dry and cool, whilst is also super breathable to keep you feeling fresh. For added protection and shielding in areas that are most likely to get bumped on the trail, the boots utilise a raised rubber rand, enhancing the durability further. The high collar keeps you comfortable and prevents irritation, and a pre-shaped elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction sits against your feet comfortably and stops dirt and debris from entering the shoes. The boots utilise 2-zone lacing, which can be easily adjusted to accommodate a range of situations and foot types. Finally, the hiking boots are compatible with semi-automatic crampons.

Working with this, an EVA compound resides underfoot to ensure you remain super comfortable, and providing shock-absorbing properties, help to reduce the level of discomfort that can often occur when striking down on to hard, unforgiving surfaces.
