GORE-TEX ePE Upper

Featuring abrasive-resistant leather to keep feet warm and toasty in winter expeditions, the Kento High GORE-TEX has a super durable, protective upper. Enhancing the overall longevity of the boots, the full-grain leather upper keeps feet warm, cool and comfortable across a range of hiking adventures, while being flexible for comfortable and free movement of your feet. To provide additional protection for your feet against varying conditions and diverse weather, these boots feature a GORE-TEX ePE membrane. This membrane works alongside the fully waterproof PU membrane with bonded seams to prevent rain or wet weather from seeping through the boots, keeping your feet dry. The combined materials are also highly breathable to reduce moisture build-up on the inside, keeping your feet cool and fresh. Preventing damage or discomfort from knocks and bashes on the trail, the boots have a raised rubber rand as well as, a TPU toe cap for durability and protection in high-wearing areas. The TPU heel stabiliser keeps your foot stable on rocky terrain, keeping you supported on a variety of surfaces. An elastic GORE-TEX tongue construction sits comfortably against your foot for additional waterproofing and reducing the dirt and debris from entering. A mount for automatic crampons features alongside the heel lever and metal toe bail, to prepare you for climbing and hiking in adverse conditions. The 2-zone lacing is easily adjusted to accommodate the array of scenarios you may be climbing in, supporting you on tricky downhill descents and uphill ascents, whilst keeping your midfoot locked in to prevent in-shoe slipping.

3D Memo Foam Midsole

Adapting to your foot, and providing you optimised in-shoe comfort, the walking boots have a 3D Memo Foam cushioning compound. This enhances your underfoot comfort by supporting you and helping to prevent blisters for irritation-free wearing. This soft compound works with a traditional EVA to cushion your landing, for soft wearability and shock absorption. To absorb the impact when striking down on tough and changing terrain, the boots help to reduce the risks of injury and discomfort.

Vibram Hexa Tech Outsole

For excellent traction and grip in all weather and trail conditions, the walking boots have a Vibram Hexa Tech outsole. The durable outsole is super protective and long-lasting, providing you with a reliable outsole that anchors you down onto the wet, soggy ground below. Adorning the outsole are tacky lugs that dig deep into muddy conditions for optimised grip and confidence on changing trail adventures. Deep edging profiling and climbing zones ensure maximum grip on high alpine terrain.
