GORE-TEX Upper

Providing feet with a comfortable layer of protection, to keep you prepared for the journey ahead, the Chameleon 8 Storm GORE-TEX Shoes have a GORE-TEX upper lining. This waterproof membrane has exceptional breathability and waterproof performance to keep your feet dry and cosy, even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. Alongside this, is a waterproof, rugged mesh upper construction to allow feet to remain cool, yet prevent water from entering the shoe and making you uncomfortable. The combination of materials used have excellent moisture-wicking properties, ensuring that feet are comfortable inside the shoes, and sweat and moisture are rapidly wicked away for a quick-drying experience. A protective rubber toe cap keeps toes and feet protected from knocks and bumps, and a bellow tongue prevents debris and dirt from entering the shoes. Finally, a traditional lace-up closure ensures that feet remain locked in and secure.

EVA Foam Midsole

With an EVA midsole, the Chameleon 8 will ensure that you won't feel any discomfort from heavy and sharp contacts from below. This is because the EVA is extremely good at absorbing shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from reaching the sole of the foot and causing any damage to it. As well as this, the midsole provides cushioning on every step that you take, which will improve the comfort of the shoes, as well as reduce the risk of injury by taking less stress off joints like the knees, ankles and bones in the feet. This will mean that you will fatigue less, maximising the amount of activity that you can achieve. The heel will sit comfortably in a TPU moulded heel counter, which will protect it from any heavy strikes as well as keep it in a strong and upright position. A Kinetic Fit Base removable contoured insole provides flexible support allowing you to move freely. Merrell Air Cushion in the heel absorbs shock whilst adding stability ensuring you remain well balanced whilst out and about.
