Breathable AirMesh Upper

The upper of the Wave Daichi 3 is made from a breathable AirMesh which offers a superbly stable and comfortable fit around the foot and allows cool air to flow into the shoe at the same time as allowing warm air to be released, keeping the inside of the shoe as cool, dry and comfortable as possible. synthetic overlays wrap and encase each upper to provide superb stability and structural integrity. The overlays also work in tandem with the traditional lacing system that provides a perfect and snug fit as well as eliminates any slipping that can occur in the shoe. In addition, Mizuno have added their unique DynamotionFit which works with your foot as it moves to allow for a safe and effective roll through the natural gait cycle. The midsole compound that is used in the Wave Daichi 3 is called AP+. AP+ is a lightweight midsole that offers amazing energy return and long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable throughout the miles. The midsole unit absorbs shock and impact forces and harnesses the energy that is created during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle. Once the energy is absorbed the midsole transfers it to the forefoot area where it is used to push you off on to your next step. Furthermore, the midsole offers Mizuno's innovative Wave technology that provides both cushioning and stability and can be engineered for all types of runner. The Mizuno wave provides flexibility in one direction and support in the other as well as absorbs shock without compromising on the comfort or cushioning. The initial shock is then transferred back to guide the athlete to the next movement.
