Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper of the Wave Exceed is surrounded by soft mesh fabric with silicone inserts. This will wrap around the foot providing you luxuriously soft fit. In addition to this, the fabric is extremely breathable. Once the match has begun, the feet will quickly heat up. The warm air that has started to build up within the shoe is then able to escape out of the shoe, before it is then replaced by cooler air from outside. This will be a constant cycle that will work to keep you feeling at a comfortable temperature. The wrap around fit of the upper will feel personalised, as it will mould to your foot shape. The firm nature of the heel will ensure that you will have solid rearfoot protection, preventing heavy contacts causing the foot any damage. Easily secured laces will allow you to find a comfortable and secure fit. A soft and padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing, whilst it will also provide comfort that will last all match. A moulded removable inner will personalise comfort over time as well as assisting with moisture management.

Pownce Midsole

Using Mizuno's developed Pownce Midsole, this will enhance performance by reducing the weight without removing any cushioning as standard in a Mizuno midsole. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is firmer, which will provide strong protection from heavy impacts from landings on the court. The further up the midsole you go, the softer the EVA becomes, and this will mean that you will feel soft cushioning throughout your match. The midsole has solid 3D technology, which will provide you with supreme comfort and maximum stability, providing support in key areas. Using the compound SR Touch, this will provide you with supreme shock absorption, whilst also providing an excellent level of responsive energy return, helping you to cover the court easily. Response and reaction will be further improved by the Mizuno Wave technology in the midsole. The unique shape of the shoe will dissipate impacts away from the foot, keeping it feeling fluent and smooth.

X10 Carbon Outsole

Keeping you in firm control, the durable X10 Carbon Rubber outsole will form a solid grip with the ground below. The compound is able to anchor the foot to the court, which will provide you with a solid base to push off from in explosive movements, improving acceleration and agility. The rubber is abrasion resistant, which will improve the lifespan and functionality of the shoe. Using Mizuno D-Flex Groove the specifically engineered diagonal groove in the midfoot area will allow you to turn at maximum speed with protection from the shoe. It will also efficiently transfer the power created with body movement.
