New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo V6 Women's Running Shoes (D Width)
Achieving the ideal foot strike just got easier with the innovative underfoot support and cushioned ride of this soft and stable running shoe.
Engineered Mesh Upper
The upper of the New Balance Vongo V6 is constructed from a breathable engineered mesh that allows air to fully permeate the entire material, providing a constant supply of fresh cool air. Additionally, the mesh enhances next-to-foot comfort and allows the feet to spread as you run on unforgiving surfaces. Furthermore, the Vongo v6 features a bootie-style construction that offers a glove-like fit. This innovative creation enhances comfort and eliminates the chances of chafing and skin irritation throughout every run. The synthetic upper material is complete with no-sew overlays for a comfortable fit and feel while a moulded sockliner offers step-in, next-to-foot cushioning and adds a bit more comfort on longer runs.
Fresh Foam X Midsole
The newest version of Fresh Foam is a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent and improves the transition in the gait cycle. A Stability Plane provides the performance and stability that you need without compromising on the energy-returning comfort of the Fresh Foam cushioning platform underfoot. The innovative technique of making the medial side a bit firmer and more elevated smoothly and gradually holds off overpronation. The Fresh Foam Vongo is still fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning. The midsole is also able to follow the natural bending of the foot, allowing the feet to move comfortably in a range of directions.
Blown Rubber Outsole
The outsole is dominated by blown rubber in most parts. There are various lugs of different sizes and shapes that afford excellent traction on the road and groomed trails. A noteworthy inclusion is the deep and substantial cuts that run from the heel to the midfoot which increases flexibility and helps with the movement from the heel to the forefoot. Flex grooves allow for a wide range of movement in the forefoot.
