New Balance District Vision x Hierro Trail Running Shoes
The outdoor enthusiasts and mindful adventurists behind District Vision are back, this time lending their collaborative touch to the New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro. Designed especially for those who take going 'off the beaten path' literally, the Hierro takes New Balance's best running technology and applies it to the trail.
Mesh Upper
Constructed from a print-dyed mesh, the upper provides a high level of protection and durability. This breathable upper helps to keep out dirt and debris, therefore, allowing you to take on challenging terrains and changing paths. The shoes also allow for an optimum level of air to flow through the shoes. 3D screen-printed overlays provide textured accents for added structure and durability. A woven tongue tag, attached to the lightly padded tongue, and printed heel counter provide branded details, while a single red dot next to the 'N' logo serves as District Vision's distinguishing and subtle final touch. The tongue prevents irritation, whilst the heel counter helps to provide a locked-in feel. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Fresh Foam X Midsole
The newest version of Fresh Foam has a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent, improves the transition in the gait cycle and uses even more natural materials to keep up with New Balance's commitment to be more environmentally friendly. The top-bed foam and Fresh Foam X underfoot construction displaces heel impact and offers a responsive approach to cushioning. The District Vision X Hierro is still fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning. The midsole is also able to follow the natural bending of the foot, allowing the feet to move comfortably in a range of directions.
Vibram Outsole
A lighter compound than ever, the District Vision X Hierro features an impressive Vibram outsole which ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound gifts you with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. The shoes have a new lug construction with Micro-Traction Lugs by Vibram which supply you with better traction on gravel and loose dirt, allowing you to tackle awkward ascents and difficult descents.
