Nike Zoom Rival Fly Running Shoes
Inspired by Japan's Ekiden relay runners, the Nike Zoom Rival Fly features a futuristic look with a Zoom Air unit in the forefoot that gives you responsive propulsion. Flex grooves underneath optimize toe-off and soft foam cushions your stride. The mesh and synthetic upper blends strength and breathability.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Mesh uppers encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow, creating a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. When temperatures begin to rise the well ventilated upper ensures a constant cooling effect so you can power through any workout with ease. Synthetic overlays swathe the midfoot to provide lightweight support and durability; they work to ensure lateral stability and increase the longevity of the shoes. An internal fit band works in tandem with the lacing system to provide a locked-down fit. These two features work together to reduce in shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. Completing the upper is a thin, low profile tongue which sits comfortably against the skin for an irritation-free fit.
Zoom Air Midsole
Constructed using a low-density foam, the midsole of the Nike Zoom Rival Fly provides soft, smooth cushioning. The foam midsole works to increase underfoot comfort and reduce shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle so you can go further for longer. Nike Zoom Air features under the forefoot to supply your stride with extra bounce; it combines pressurised air with internal fibres to deliver responsive cushioning that springs back fast, so you can move faster. Zoom Air's advantage is that, as well as providing excellent impact protection, it boasts a super lightweight and low-profile design which lets your feet sit closer to the ground, enhancing proprioception so that you can run more efficiently. Embedded within the hell of the midsole, a rubber crash pad helps to absorb shocks and impacts allowing you to go further for longer.
Durable Rubber Outsole
A durable rubber outsole completes the Zoom Rival Fly to provide enhanced traction and increased durability. Forefoot flex grooves have been added to the outsole to optimize to-offs; as you run the grooves allow the outsole to flex which allows you to achieve a better toe-off and increases your running efficiency. Completing the outsole of the Zoom Rival Fly Running Shoes are small lugs which form a wave-like pattern. These lugs have been strategically placed to enhance traction on varied terrain.
