Nike Air Zoom Maxfly More Uptempo Sprinting Spikes
Let the lightweight feel of the Air Zoom Maxfly Uptempo take you there. Bounce at every step gives you the responsiveness to match your speed as you race shatter personal goals. We added plenty of traction to give you extra grip for races from 100 to 400 metres with hurdles.
Woven, Synthetic Uppers
Woven, synthetic uppers will encase your feet in a secure, lightweight containment. An internal arch band also wraps the midfoot in a firm fit, reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. Synthetic overlays swathe the midfoot and heel in lightweight support, thus helping to anchor you to the midsole and withstand scuffs and drag. The shoes have notched laces which provide you with less chance of them untying during your run, and to further keep your feet locked-in and the shoes in place.
Zoom Air Midsole
A Zoom Air unit through the forefoot provides you a light, responsive bounce when your foot connects to the track. Addiionally through the midsole of the shoes, 2 cushioned chambers within the air unit adds even more stability and sprint, and is combine with a full-length carbon plate for a propulsive and stable during foot takes off. The carbon is tuned in the midfoot and heel for a stiff feel where needed for a better heel to toe transition. The lightweight foam through the midsole are provided at the heel and will help to cushion your feet without adding weight.
Seven Spike Outsole
For optimum grip and traction, seven spikes have been incorporated into the outsole alongside a shockwave traction pattern for heightened grip and durability. Having an array of spikes within the outsole enables a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions so you can maximise performance coupled with added flexibility. Solid rubber is located through and under the heel to further improve traction while the spike plate extends under the arch for midfoot response and support.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
