Flywire technology woven into the upper merges with the laces for a dynamic and supportive fit through the midfoot to reduce excessive movement. The strong, yet feather-light, cables work with the laces to increase support as you tighten them for a personalised fit. An integrated strap also works to provide an optimum fit ensuring support and stability throughout any training session. Completing the upper is a rubber toe tip which adds to the overall durability of the Zoom SD 4, especially during planting and forward movements.
Durable EVA Midsole
EVA resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot comfort and protection allowing you to perform at the optimum level. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you plant your foot down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces; perfect for when you're throwing in the circle. A reduced cross-rocker in the forefoot provides a stable ride with the perfect amount of ground contact adding to the overall feel whilst on the track.
Smooth Carbon Rubber Outsole
A smooth carbon rubber outsole completes the Zoom SD 4. Flexible and textured, it delivers high-wearing traction for fast throwing circles and wet conditions. The smooth carbon rubber skirts the outsole and overlaps the upper to increase its durability and defend against foot drag. A pivot point allows for easy and smooth rotation, whilst a Pebax plate sits beneath the forefoot to increase rigidity and durability, providing you with a stiff, stable platform to throw from.
