Nike Air Max Alpha Trainer 6 Training Shoes
Softness is the enemy of stability, especially when sitting in a squat position, sweating through a heavy super set or trying to stay steady when maintaining a new move. The Air Max Alpha 6 brings balance and sturdiness to the room, taking "performance Air" to your toughest workouts. With a wide base and robust heel, it helps keep you from sinking and plunging, so you can set your sights on the rewards you so deserve.
Mesh Upper
The shoe upper swathes the foot in breathable comfort. It features micro-perforations that allow built-up heat and vapour to be expelled whilst fresh air flows in to keep your feet cool and comfortable. A foam collar provides ankle support and added comfort, padding your ankle from one move to the next. Completing the upper is a standard lacing system that ensures midfoot support and reduced movement for a distraction-free workout.
Max Air Cushioning Midsole
The midsole features Nike's innovative Max Air unit at the heel. Ensuring lightweight, durable and versatile cushioning, the powerful unit features pressurised air inside that compresses and recovers as you jump and lunge around the gym. The unit compresses to reduce the impact force and then recovery allows the air unit to return to its original shape and volume to ensure a soft and responsive base for you to push off from. Every time you land, the powerful Max Air cushioning absorbs your energy and shoots it right back - springing you into your next move. These Max Air units have been teamed with a foam midsole made from a durable material, giving you the correct amount of support in key areas for comfort that lasts. It's been fine-tuned from the last iteration for even better stability.
Sticky Rubber Outsole
The outsole is crafted from a sticky rubber for great grip. It is flat and wide, with an optimal rubber tread pattern that gives you stability and traction for improved control and confidence in your workout. The rubber wraps up the side to help keep your foot firmly on the sole during lateral movement. Flex grooves in the forefoot are designed for maximum flexibility and freedom of movement, perfect for lunges.
