With a running-vest-inspired harness, flexible back panel and lightweight design, it provides access to the essentials without skipping a beat.
Made with an Airscape mesh panel the Talon Velocity 20 has been designed to be lightweight and comfortable. The Airscape back panel has been combined with an Atilon frame sheet that wraps the body and effectively transfers the weight evenly while providing ample breathability, keeping you cool no matter how tough the trail gets. Keeping you comfortable throughout use, the backpack features a Biostretch Hipbelt. A seamless lumbar-to-hipbelt body wrap with BioStretch seams provides plenty of flexibility without sacrificing stability, allowing your body to move with complete freedom. Ospreys ErgoPull system has been incorporated into the hipbelt to pull the lumbar into the body for increased stability. The hipbelt system has been created using Spacermesh wrapped over die-cut foam, increasing the comfort and breathability of the backpack. The hipbelt includes a right-side zippered pocket and a left stretch pocket for quick access to essential items. The Talon Velocity 20 also includes sternum straps with an emergency whistle that provide a more stable and closer fit, making the pack feel lighter.
Providing plenty of room to store your equipment and clothing the backpack features a main compartment that can store up to 20L worth of gear. Not only this but it features multiple pockets too such as a large zippered phone pocket and small stash pocket, dual-access stretch side pockets and a stretch-mesh front shove-it pocket that can hold a helmet. There is also a compartment to store a hydration reservoir and pockets that can hold a 500ml soft flask. To lower the pack size Osprey has included dual SR-buckled side compression straps that double up and allow for external attachments. Finishing the backpack are dual low-profile pole/axe attachments.
