Puma Magnify Nitro 2 Running Shoes
Experience ultimate comfort with Magnify Nitro 2. An engineered knit upper, a full midsole of NITROFOAM cushioning, and added durability provide everything you need on your next long run.
Engineered Knit Upper
Providing optimal levels of breathability and comfort, the Magnify Nitro features an engineered knit upper. The material allows constant air to flow freely through the shoes, providing a comfortable, cosy fit and feel. PWRTAPE reinforcements have been added to the upper to keep feet protected against chafing and abrasion. Also, PWRTAPE enhances the shoe's structure, supports the foot and reduces in-shoe movement while a padded mesh tongue enhances airflow and increases comfort. The shoes also feature a moulded heel collar to provide you with a locked-in feel at the heel, that helps to reduce movement for a more secure ride. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system to provide a secure, locked-in fit whilst preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
NITROFOAM Midsole
Using Puma's nitrogen-infused thermoplastic foam, the Magnify Nitro utilises a NITROFOAM midsole. NITROFOAM is an extremely lightweight, highly responsive cushioning. By infusing nitrogen into their foams, Puma has expanded the midsole, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable compound for feet to land. Also, the foam enhances forward propulsion, helping you to hit those PBs and absorbing impact to reduce the stress on your joints and the risks of injury or discomfort when running. The shoes use NITROFOAM for explosive energy return, adding a spring to your step and ensuring soft cushioning underfoot.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Constructed from a durable rubber compound, the Magnify Nitro 2 features a PUMAGRIP outsole, providing high durability and superior levels of grip and traction, to keep you secure underfoot. Creating a grip with the ground below, the rubber has been strategically placed for multi-surface traction underfoot, even when the ground is wet, keeping you focused on the road ahead. Rubber placements on the heel have been included to help increase the durability and the shoe's lifespan.
