Microsuede Upper

Constructed using a suede upper, the Scarpa Force Climbing Shoes will provide complete comfort on your next climbing adventure. Designed to provide the right amount of flexibility and support, the upper conforms to the shape of the foot, yet, retains its elasticity for a better, more supportive fit. The upper has been bonded with a breathable and padded lining to increase next-to-skin comfort. The lining allows built-up heat to escape whilst encouraging fresh air from the outside to circulate, keeping your feet cool and comfortable. The shoes use a V-Tension system which keeps the shoe's shape over its life. It works with the full sole unit to keep the power focused on the big toe while supporting the arch and forefoot. Its neutral shape and relaxed toe position make wear easy and comfortable even on those longer days. Completing the upper are twin reverse velcro straps with a high-stretch gusset to allow easy entry.

Flexan Midsole

The midsole of the Scarpa Force Climbing Shoes is low in profile to save on weight and increase underfoot feel. The Flexan midsole is 1.0mm thick to ensure a level of support that doesn't compromise sensitivity. The midsole spreads the force in the forefoot and allows for excellent flexibility in the rear of the shoe so you can edge into the smallest crevices with the confidence you can get back out again. The Force is slightly downturned to allow your feet to form a position best for climbing.

Vibram XS Outsole

Develeoped using a Vibram XS Edge Outsole, the Force Climbing Shoes ensure maximum support whether outdoor, indoor or lead climbing. This specialist outsole lets you focus your weight on the tiniest of holds and keeps its shape in tough conditions. A truly robust outsole, the XS Edge can endure repeated abuse in hot and cold weather conditions, giving you a shoe that can perform in all weather conditions. The rigid nature of the outsole supports you during any climb by adapting to the ground below you and bearing your weight as you move from rock type to rock type. The superior rigidness of this shoe is counterbalanced by adaptability and sensitivity. The outsole allows for a more natural feel, ensuring you can detect rocks beneath your feet for a barefoot experience. The increase in ground feel allows you to adapt to different terrain, ensuring hold at all times.
