Scott Kinabalu 3 GORE-TEX Women's Trail Running Shoes

The Scott Kinabalu trail running shoes has an extensive history. Now in its third generation, it has been given a full redesign to provide you with improved comfort, protection and running efficiency out on the trails.

Ripstop Mesh and TPU Upper

Engineered using a combination of breathable and TPU fabrics, the Kinabalu 3 will keep your feet feeling cool and comfortable from start to finish on all your trail runs. The highly breathable ripstop mesh ensures that no matter what the temperature is, or how intense your run is, your feet will remain cool and comfortable. Strategically placed perforations throughout the lightweight mesh, allow a constant supply of fresh air to surround your feet, therefore preventing overheating. The TPU overlays protect the shoes from damage, providing long-lasting durability, and a TPU Support Cage helps to prevent ankle rolling, therefore reducing the risks of injury on changing terrain. Working alongside this, the shoes feature a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane which is a waterproof and extremely breathable material, to keep you dry and cool. The materials are extremely lightweight and have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture during intense running sessions. Protecting toes from knocks and bumps, the shoes have a durable toe guard, therefore reducing the risks of bruises and discomfort. Finally, a traditional lacing system keeps your feet locked in and secure inside the shoes, preventing in-shoe slipping and allowing a perfect fit.

Dual-Density Kinetic Midsole

The Kinabalu 3 features a Kinetic Foam midsole, which is a lightweight and highly responsive foam. This cushions your stride, providing your feet with optimal energy return, for a plush, but stable dynamic ride. The cushioning also helps to absorb shock, therefore reducing the risks of injury and discomfort when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, especially when the terrain changes frequently. The shoes also have a women-specific Ortholite Ultra Footbed, which provides long-term cushioning, whilst ensuring a cool, dry and healthy environment inside the shoes. Additionally, the insole has moisture-wicking properties, further preventing moisture and sweat from forming inside the shoes. The shoes feature Evolve Rocker2 Technology to promote more dynamic running, reducing your heel strike, and increasing gait efficiency. This allows your foot to roll forward when striking down, creating a rocking chair effect for a more natural running stride.

Versatile Traction Outsole

Providing outstanding traction on changing terrains and wet ground, the Kinabalu 3s utilise Scott's unique Versatile Traction Outsole design. The durable outsole has a fully redesigned lug pattern, which works effectively to bite down onto the everchanging trail terrain, for grip across rocks, roots and trail features to optimise ground contact and enhanced traction.
