GORE-TEX Upper
Utilising a synthetic material, the Olympus 5 Hike Walking Boots will work to keep your feet feeling breathable and comfortable. This means air will travel through the boots efficiently removing any uncomfortable moisture and replacing this with fresh, cool air. Not only this but the upper has a GORE-TEX membrane to supply your feet with constant protection when travelling on wet, muddy trails, therefore feet remain dry throughout your adventures. The boots also feature a premium collar which sits comfortably, providing you with a tailored and locked-in secure fit to keep you balanced and comfortable, no matter what conditions you're walking in. Newly designed sidewalls, along with the structure and durability of the boots keep you protected from knocks, bumps and grazes when you're on the trail. Finally, the boots have a traditional lace-up system to ensure that feet further remain locked in and secure, preventing the issues of in-shoe slippage or discomfort.
Moulded EVA Midsole
The midsole of the Olympus 5 Hike Walking Boots has been constructed using compression moulded EVA. With a generous and soft feel, it reduces pressure on your joints as you strike the hard surfaces of the trail. Extremely durable and responsive, this midsole provides you with all the cushioning you need for the longest of hikes keeping you comfortable from the first step to the last. The original Footshape technology due to a wider toe box allows you to splay your toes for a more natural fit and feel when running on any surface. Innerflex grooves reside in the midsole allows your foot to flex while being lighter, for greater speed.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Finishing the Olympus 5 is a Vibram Megagrip outsole, a high-performance sticky rubber that provides exceptional grip and traction on any surface whether dry or wet. The outsole also includes flex grooves which work to increase traction and grip of varied surfaces by allowing your foot to move naturally providing a larger surface area. The grooves have been cut out of the midsole to reduce overall weight and ensure traction when running. They offer a multi-directional grip that flexes as you move for more speed and a better performance.
