ASICS Tartherzeal 6 Tenka Running Shoes
Every element of the TARTHERZEAL 6 running shoe by ASICS is engineered for speed. This shoe was inspired by the idea of tenka. Tenka is a word that samurai used when they aimed to be "top of the world." It also means to "light up" - our vision to light up an athlete's passion.
Adaptable Mesh Upper
Enjoy having room for your feet to breathe with the adaptable mesh upper surrounding the shoe. This allows for a steady airflow in and out of the shoe, which will work to keep the feet feeling fresh and not over-heating. The material moulds to individual foot shapes for a glove-like fit. This increases comfort and makes the shoe feel personalised, able to move with your feet. As well as this, soft suede overlays increase durability and support to keep you comfortable, secure and protected on any terrain. Simple up the foot laces and a padded tongue allows you to find the perfect secure fit with ease. Reflective trims and features make the shoes easier to spot at night time improving safety.
FlyteFoam Midsole
The Tartherzeal 6 uses an ASICS FlyteFoam midsole. Supremely lightweight, this helps keep the overall weight of the shoe down, but without compromising any protection of cushioning. Engineered to last, the midsole adds to the shoe longevity, whilst every stride feels as good as the first one. Within the midsole, ASICS use their Trusstic system. This supports stable movements by reinforcing the middle part of the sole and preventing the shoe from twisting. Rebound and bounceback is created by the EVA within the midsole which transfers energy to propel the foot forward.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The durable outsole is long-lasting and protects itself from abrasions caused by sharp bumps and knocks on the road. It also increases traction and stability, ensuring that you will always be in full control. An AHAR heel plug provides the heel with a thicker layer of the outsole, which makes impacts from landings feel gentler. Pronounced and multi-directional lugs dig into the ground to further solidify the base of the shoe.
