Engineered Jacquard Mesh Upper with Invisible GORE-TEX Membrane
Utilising an updated engineered jacquard mesh upper, the Gel-Cumulus 25 shoes will work to keep your feet cool and comfortable during training and running. The mesh construction allows air to flow freely through the uppers of these shoes, keeping feet cool and preventing them from overheating during high-heat activities. Featuring an Invisible GORE-TEX membrane, this waterproof version of the Gel-Cumulus 25 offers an improved fit and better breathability whilst helping to prevent rain and snow from entering the shoe's interior, keeping feet dry and comfortable in wet weather conditions. Not only this, but the uppers have a great level of stretch to prevent restrictions and allow your foot to flex, whilst simultaneously keeping your foot secure and comfortable when wearing. At least 75% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions, providing you with a sustainable choice of footwear for your next training session. To ensure feet are locked in and secure, the shoes have a traditional lace-up construction, alongside a plush tongue and cushioned collar to help prevent irritation or chafing from occurring and stop dirt and debris from entering the shoes. Finally, the uppers of the Gel-Cumulus 25 utilise reflective details to improve visibility during low-light conditions.
FF Blast Plus Cushioning Midsole
An update from the Gel-Cumulus 24, this newly updated version utilises PureGEL technology through the midsole section. The PureGEL technology helps to absorb more impact for softer-than-ever landings and provides you with a smoother transition, supplying you with a pair of shoes you can rely on. This works alongside a full-length FF Blast Plus midsole to further enhance the cushioning, whilst providing you with lightweight impact absorption and a responsive level of rebound. Working in tandem to further cushion your landing and ensure the impact is absorbed, the shoes have a 2mm increased stack height providing the most underfoot cushioning to date. The midsection of the Gel-Cumulus 25 also utilises an Ortholite X-30 sockliner, which provides you with soft step-in comfort.
The sockliner is produced with the solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology.
AHAR Rubber Outsole
Supplying you with an exceptional level of grip and traction on varying surfaces, the shoes utilise a combination of AHAR LO and AHAR PLUS rubber. These highly abrasive rubbers are strategically placed throughout the outsole, to provide you with a great deal of grip and traction, whilst also reducing the overall weight of the shoe and ensuring durability is still provided.
