ASICS Gel-Peake 2 GS Junior Hockey Shoes
Designed for field sports or outdoor training, the Gel Peake 2 GS (Grade School) has been designed with a durable construction and advanced stability properties.
Synthetic Leather Upper
Providing feet with an optimum level of in-shoe comfort and outstanding protection, the shoes utilise synthetic leather overlays and a durable upper construction. The synthetic leather overlays provide feet with a secure fit, preventing your little ones from becoming uncomfortable, and protecting them from bumps and bashes when competing or training. Additionally, the overlays are high-wearing for long-lasting protection and help to reduce rocks and debris from damaging the shoes. Alongside this, the shoes have reinforcement panels at the sides to enhance midfoot support, providing stability during twists and turns. Strategic perforation feature to prevent feet from overheating and keep them cool when under pressure, allowing your child to remain confident and distraction-free on the field. Keeping little feet locked in and secure in the shoes, a traditional lace-up prevents in-shoe slipping from occurring when on the move.
EVA Midsole
The Gel-Peake 2 GS utilises a full-length EVA compound, which resides underfoot for a lightweight, responsive experience. To ensure feet are comfortable and stable, the lightweight midsole provides you with long-lasting reliable cushioning, for long days of training or competing. With shock-absorbing properties, the midsole will effectively absorb the impact that can often occur when striking down on harder surfaces, therefore preventing the risk of injury or discomfort to feet. This will then be rebounded for energetic, bouncy strides on the court, keeping your little ones' strides feeling fresh and comfortable. Working with this, the shoes utilise ASICS' GEL technology, featuring in the rearfoot to further reduce shocks from harsh landing or abrupt braking.
AHARPLUS Rubber Outsole
The Gel-Peake 2 GS utilises an AHARPLUS outsole to provide your little ones with ultimate grip and traction. This is a tough rubber compound that's present in high-wearing areas to help cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and users from slipping during harsh movement when playing. Lastly, flex grooves adorn the outsole of the hockey shoes to optimise flexibility during agile movements and pivoting, and further enhance their grip with the surface below.
