ASICS Novablast 5 GS Junior Running Shoes
The Novablast 5 GS (Grade School) running shoe features a responsive cushioning system that helps produce an energised bounce. The shoe is reinforced with a toe rubber stitch, outsole phrase and wrap-up design outsole offering more stretch and added durability.
Mesh Upper
The upper of the Novablast 5 GS has been created with mesh uppers that wrap the foot like a second skin. Perforations in the construction allow air to circulate the upper, whilst removing built-up heat letting your little one's feet breathe when the temperatures rise or their training session heats up. A double-layer construction delivers a premium fit improving flexibility and decreasing irritation-causing wrinkles (because we know how rubbing and blisters can ruin your day) while maintaining its lightweight. A gusseted tongue wing fit system offers an improved midfoot fit whilst reducing sliding of the tongue. The upper provides excellent comfort and support with a heel stabiliser that helps to support the foot further and create a more balanced stride. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that increases midfoot support to ensure a dynamic fit for all-day comfort.
EVA Midsole
For a soft comfortable landing and a responsive ride, the shoes feature an EVA midsole, to keep your little one focused on the run ahead. The midsole keeps strides energetic and bouncy by absorbing shocks and ensuring even distribution from the forefoot when striking down on changing terrains, reducing the risks of injury or discomfort when running on unforgiving surfaces.
AHAR Rubber Outsole
An AHAR Rubber Outsole provides twice the abrasion resistance of the traditional outsole rubber, for improved durability without sacrificing properties like traction. Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is a tough rubber compound used at heavy-contact or high wear areas which helps to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it the outsole allows your child to stay in control. The trampoline outsole design and "Better your best" outsole phrase create a dynamic look.
