Huub Women's Alpha Wetsuit
The HUUB Alpha Open Water Swimming wetsuit has been designed to offer fantastic flexibility while having the buoyancy required to give the most comfortable swimming position.
Huub have incorporated full, smooth-skin neoprene into the construction of the Alpha wetsuit to provide the wearer with optimum comfort and performance across the water. Each HUUB wetsuit has been rigorously developed for a particular stroke style by expert swimming coaches Swim Smooth and heavily tested by real swimmers at their test centre in Perth, Western Australia. The neoprene is specifically designed to improve water speed, ensuring you maximise focus and performance to give you the best possible results. In addition, the neoprene offers a comfortable, next-to-skin feel, creating a more relaxing environment as you swim. With a 2:3 buoyancy rating, the wetsuit is for improved body position and reduced drag.
A super-flexible underarm panel helps to deliver a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions to give you the edge against your competitors or against the clock. Having the maximum mobility will allow you to cut through the water, increasing your speed and efficiency. For the first time, Huub have managed to introduce a new highly flexible flat-lock construction method found on thinner material wetsuits, delivering a great feeling wetsuit. The Alpha is the ideal first-timers wetsuit. A zip is located on the back of the suit to allow simple put on and take off without causing an unwelcome distraction. Huub branding is situated throughout the wetsuit for a sleek, fashionable look whilst retaining authenticity.
If you have sharp nails, wearing gloves is recommended to prevent them from snagging on the material and potentially causing damage to it. Specially designed to keep you comfortable, protected and enhanced in open water, the construction and feel of the wetsuit will mean that no outdoor water is a barrier. HUUB recommends that if you are on the border of two different sizes, going a size up rather than down would result in a better fit. It is vitally important to get a close fitting wetsuit. Once you have an optimally fitted wetsuit on it feels like a second skin which is what makes it so effective when you are in the water. But with a garment that fits so tightly, the challenge is in how to get it on without damaging the suit or chafing or trapping your skin. Adjusting the suit to fit your body comfortably so that it doesn't cause discomfort whilst you are swimming also needs a little practice.
