Jack Wolfskin Tasman Down Hybrid Women's Jacket
With a contemporary athletic look, the Tasman Down Hybrid Jacket can be worn solo during trans-seasonal periods or as a mid-layer on particularly cold days. Equipped with the SNAP-IN system, the jacket is easily docked with a compatible hardshell. The sleeves and back of the jacket consist of a moisture-wicking TEXADRI STRETCH fabric that dries quickly and ensures maximum freedom of movement. The front of the jacket consists of windproof TEXASHIELD PRO PAPERTOUCH to shield you from the headwind and has an RDS-certified down fill. The hood is adjustable and incorporates a high collar.
This hybrid jacket is perfect for fast-paced sports. The entire front of the jacket is reinforced with TEXASHIELD PRO windproof fabric to shield you from the headwind and has 700-fill natural down insulation for extra warmth. Down boasts an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, a high level of heat retention and a small pack size. The 90/10 duck down fill within the Tasman provides a high level of heat retention. TEXADRI fibre technology provides active moisture management by absorbing sweat quickly, wicking it away from the skin and distributing it over a large surface area to increase the rate of evaporation. As a result, moisture is absorbed and transported quickly for a faster drying time and added comfort.
The sleeves and back of the Tasman Down Hybrid consist of a soft and very stretchy fabric that allows the skin to breathe and dries fast, so you won't feel cold after you've worked up a sweat. This stretch fabric allows you to move better in every direction, as your clothing choice should never inhibit your performance. The breathable construction means cool air can permeate the construction and hot muggy air can escape, preventing intolerable heat build-ups and keeping you comfortable, as we know how overheating can ruin an activity. The hood offers added protection and warmth when needed and two hand pockets provide storage space for your adventure essentials or a refuge for your chilly hands.
