Waterproof Mesh Upper
Designed to keep small feet comfortable and warm, the Merrell Outback are the perfect boots for outdoor adventures. Constructed using M-Select Dry within the mesh upper, the boots work to seal out water whilst letting moisture escape. The membrane, developed by Merrell, is guaranteed to seal wet weather out to keep feet dry. In addition to this, the membrane will let moisture out of it, which will mean that as feet begin to sweat, the moisture and warm air that is building up within the boots can escape out, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside of the boots. Within the boots, 200g of insulation is used in the footbed, which works to keep little feet warm when temperatures drop. The warming insulation traps escaping heat within its fibres to ensure comfortable warmth at all times. As well as this, the insulation is low bulk and soft against the skin for complete comfort. Completing the upper is a bungee lace with a toggle closure for adjustability and a snug fit.
EVA Midsole
Constructed using an EVA midsole, the Outback Snow Boot provides comfortable cushioning that keeps your little one going all day long. The dual-density EVA provides significant cushioning and comfort keeping them on their feet during long outdoor adventures. Holding excellent cushioning abilities, the midsole absorbs shocks as your child moves over hard surfaces, reducing the risks of potential injury. As well as this, an anti-odour treatment features in the midsole offering natural odour control, eliminating odour-causing microbes and ensuring the boots smell fresher for longer.
Non-Mark outsole
The M-Select Grip is specifically tuned to match your little one's activities. The M-Select Grip outsole roots itself in performance design and materials to deliver durable, highly slip-resistant traction on wet and dry ground as well as over mixed terrain. The outsole also releases dirt and debris thanks to the specialised lugs. The Rubber compound is a tear-resistant, durable outsole that features a self-cleaning lug design, these features help the boot grip onto anything in any weather. The lugs are all over the outsole with some around the edges that grip for lateral movement and some that are angled allowing them to cut through any terrain. Lastly, the outsole is non-marking meaning your little one will never leave a trace.
