Your new favourite training partner. The New Balance Fresh Foam X Balos features an innovative midsole design with ground contact EVA outsole for a lightweight, propulsive, and fast underfoot feel to take you seamlessly from training to race day.
Providing you with a constant supply of cool air, and keeping you focused on training days, the New Balance Fresh Foam X Balos utilises a breathable creel mesh upper. The strategically placed perforations help to encourage cool, fresh air to circulate round the shoes, reducing the heat build-up surrounding your feet, therefore keeping them fresh and feeling cool from start to finish. The soft guessted tongue enables a structured and comfortable fit and feel while the reflective elements enhance visibility in low-light conditions. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system to provide a secure, locked-in fit, reducing in-shoe slipping.
The newest version of Fresh Foam provides more energetic rebound than ever before. Delivering soft underfoot cushioning, the PEBA-blended Fresh Foam X is a fusion of plush foam and advanced design, creating an ultra-comfortable and geometrically sound ride. Fresh Foam encourages a smooth heel-toe transition and reduces the use of superfluous muscle power; this diminishes fatigue, keeping you motivated for longer. Attenuating shock impact, the Fresh Foam X protects against stress to joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces without compromising a responsive, natural ride. The shoes also have a rocker profile for a smooth and fast propulsive feel.
A ground contact EVA outsole completes the New Balance Balos, supplying exceptional grip and traction for a lightweight ride. The outsole can create a solid bond of friction with various surfaces, crucial for control as you race around the roads. In addition, it can withstand damage from uneven terrain to give you added confidence when out running. This will reduce the risk of injury from slipping or rolling your ankle, as you will be held in a firm and upright position.
