Warm, stretchy and super breathable, the R1 TechFace Hooded Jacket has the added benefits of abrasion and weather resistance. The slim-fitting cool-weather crosslayer has been designed for extended versatility in shifting mountain conditions.

For extreme fleece-like comfort, with a durable face fabric, the jacket utilises a combined recycled polyester and elastane solution dyed double-weave fabric. This cosy fabric provides you with a super soft and warm, next-to-skin sensation, for ultimate comfort, without trapping excess heat in to keep you at the optimum temperature. The outer face fabric is super smooth and abrasive resistant to ensure you remain at your most comfortable even when the hike gets tougher. With a durable water-repellent finish, the jacket will keep you shielded from light rain and moist conditions, for constant comfort. The fabrics are moisture-wicking to reduce a build-up of excess sweat and moisture to keep you feeling dry from sweat, whilst a DWR finish, keeps you dry from light rain. The DWR lining is constructed without perfluorinated chemicals and the jacket has solution-dyed yarns to reduce water usage by 90% and carbon emissions by 96% compared to the typical dyeing process. For optimum comfort when wearing and restriction-free movement, the jacket has an articulated pattern providing a slim, athletic fit, allowing you to reach over-head or across your body. Additionally, an adjustable, stretchy, over-the-helmet hood with a laminated visor provides you shielding and coverage in changing weather. The garment has multiple pockets that allow you to stash essentials to keep you prepared for whatever the hike throws at you next. This includes an external, zipped pocket, and two high-handwarmer pockets that are compatible with a harness or waist pack. The low bulk, adjustable cuffs and adjustable hem keep the jacket comfortable and secure, preventing windchill from occurring when moving around in cold conditions.
