Designed to keep you protected in extreme environments, the Rab Electron Pro Down Jacket is perfect for outdoor adventures. Featuring Pertex Quantum Pro, the jacket uses an ultra-thin water-resistant coating to provide increased weather resistance for extreme conditions. Pertex Quantum Pro also delivers a high level of water resistance whilst remaining lightweight and breathable for all temperature comfort. The durable nature of the fabric works to give you peace of mind on tough ascents and provides lightweight abrasion resistance so you'll never have to worry about tears. As well as this, the Pertex fabrication maximises the efficiency of insulation to keep you toasty and warm when temperatures drop. To keep you comfortable and cosy, Goose Down has been used as insulation; it traps warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. All Rab Down products use ethically sourced European Goose Down certified to Responsible Down Standard. This ensures that Rab's entire down supply chain can be traced so consumers can be confident that all down and feathers used in their products adhere to the highest possible animal welfare and safety standards. A Nikwax treatment has also been used on the jacket to keep the Down protected during wet conditions.
To provide added protection, a helmet-compatible hood can be used to shield your face when the weather takes a turn for the worse. As well as this, the hood features a drawcord adjustment and stiffened peak which allows you to find a perfect fit. A relaxed fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it supplies comfortable coverage that moves with you and provides enough room for layering if you require it. A front YKK zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. Zippered hand pockets can be used to store your essential items or keep your hands warm when temperatures drop.
