Featuring The North Face's FUTURELIGHT 3L shell fabric, the Summit Series Torre Egger FUTURELIGHT is exceptionally breathable and waterproof. Allowing air and vapour to permeate through the garment, FUTURELGIHT will keep you feeling fresh and comfortable, even during the more intense periods of your hiking endeavours. Alongside the materials have an optimum level of waterproofing, to ensure that even during the worst downpours you remain dry. This combination prevents you from overheating in changing weather conditions. Highly durable, this three-layer fabric is lightweight and stretchy under the arms, with underarm gussets for mobility and breathability, as well as underarm vents to enhance breathability and keep you comfortable. The garment has a targeted use of YKK AquaGuard FLATKNIT zips which help to reduce bulk, whilst also increasing flexibility, including a centre front zip with an internal draft flap for providing an easy on-or-off and airflow control. The jacket has multiple pockets to provide space for your essentials, including a zipped chest pocket for stashing smaller items, harness-compatible zipped hand pockets and two mesh internal drop-in pockets. The jacket has an attached helmet-compatible hood that is fully adjustable with a bonded brim to keep you shielded in changing weather without blocking your vision. Allowing you to carry a backpack comfortably, the garment has seamless shoulders which also reduces bulk. Providing you with the perfect fit and feel, the garment has bonded adjustable hook-and-loop cuff tabs for windchill prevention, alongside an internal cinch cord with a riveted cord lock at the hem to make preferable adjustments. Finally, the garment is constructed from recycled materials, making it better for the environment and protecting the landscapes we tread.
