Anti-Abrasive, Ripstop Upper
Accompanying you on technical trail explorations and long walking adventures, the VECTIV Fastpack Lite features a technical ripstop upper, a super durable fabric with anti-abrasive properties. The fabrics keep feet well-protected and comfortable, shielding feet from knocks, bumps and scrapes when traversing tricky conditions. TPU reinforcements are placed in areas that are usually high-wearing to further protect the shoes from damage and your feet from discomfort. Further providing protection and keeping feet comfortable, the VECTIV Fastpack Lite has a waterproof DryVent membrane to keep feet from poor and changing weather conditions. The hiking shoes have extremely breathable properties to prevent overheating or causing discomfort when under pressure, and moisture-wicking properties stop moisture build-up for a dry sensation inside the shoes. A protective moulded-TPU toe cap and mud guard reinforcement further protect the feet, preventing damage being caused during knocks and bumps on the trail. The reinforced heel cup and padded collar provide all-day comfort and support with loops to assist in taking the shoes on or off, and the gusseted tongue prevents dirt or debris from entering the shoes. Finally, the shoes feature a traditional lace-up system to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring and supply you with a secure, locked-in fit.
VECTIV Midsole
Designed to maximise energy underfoot and enhance in-shoe support when traversing mixed trail conditions, the shoes feature a comfortable, responsive VECTIV midsome compound. The VECTIV system provides you with more energy return by reducing fatigue and helping you prepare for the next toe-off. VECTIV technology delivers an abundance of structural support to make walking feel effortless and ensure you remain confident across difficult trails. Working with the VECTIV compound is a TPU plate, which enhances multi-directional stability and support. A high-rebound, lightweight EVA midsole ensures a comfortable level of cushioning and has shock-absorbing properties to absorb impact when taking strides on tough, rocky conditions, preventing risks of injury or discomfort on long adventures. The rockered geometry of the midsole creates long-lasting forward propulsion, smooth transitions and a natural stride when hiking.
SurfaceCTRL Rubber Outsole
Adorning the outsole is a technical rubber outsole. SurfaceCTRL is a lightweight compound that supplies feet with outstanding levels of stability, grip and support on a variety of hiking conditions. The compound has been optimised to reduce weight and versatility to keep you confident with every footing for secure, stable strides across uneven terrain. SurfaceCTRL has been constructed from 20% rubber from smallholder farmers committed to agroforestry principles and regenerative agricultural practices, so you can remain confident in the materials used and where they were sourced from. Working alongside this, the outsole features impressive 4mm lugs, optimised for high-level traction for optimum support and comfort when hiking.
