The North Face Summit Series VECTIV Pro II Women's Trail Running Shoes
The Summit Series VECTIV Pro IIs are engineered to perform on race day, thanks to the use of a VECTIV 2.0 carbon-fibre plate and super-high-rebound DREAM foam for ultimate comfort and support on the trails.
Seamless Engineered Upper
Made with 92% recycled materials, the Summit VECTIV Pro IIs have a seamless engineered upper. This durable, comfortable upper has exceptional breathable properties, as the unique fabric has strategically placed perforations that allow air to pass through, helping to regulate the temperatures of your feet, and keeping you cooler for longer. Moisture-wicking properties help to reduce the build-up of moisture and sweat, therefore keeping feet dry and comfortable even during the more intense periods of your run. Additionally, the lightweight upper has a seamless construction which prevents irritations or abrasions from occurring when running. The seamless internal debris bootie is integrated with the tongue to ensure a comfortable fit and prevent rocks and debris from entering the shoes. Finally, a traditional lace-up construction allows feet to remain locked in and secure during movement, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
VECTIV 2.0 Midsole
Providing you with ultra-soft, lightweight cushioning, the Summit VECTIV Pro IIs utilise a combination of midsole compounds to keep feet comfortable on the trail. An ultralight DREAM foam midsole is nitrogen-infused and offers you outstanding rebound for bouncy, comforting strides. This compound works to soften the demands of trail running, offering you a soft foot strike during miles on all terrains, and helping to reduce the risks of injury. Alongside this, a VECTIV 2.0 full-length carbon-fibre plate features underfoot, to help secure your foot on loose surfaces. The carbon plate has stability wings and a forked design in the heel/forefoot for stability on technical terrain. The rocker-shaped geometry is engineered to ensure long-lasting forward propulsion and a more natural stride.
SurfaceCTRL Outsole
The trail running shoes utilise a SurfaceCTRL outsole, which is a bio-based outsole rubber that helps to provide you with high levels of traction and grip on a variety of terrains, including wet and dry surfaces. Not only does the outsole work exceptionally well on a mixture of grounds but it also provides feet with multi-directional traction. The highly durable rubber is strong enough to withstand the toughest trails yet, is flexible enough to adapt to different terrain so you can have complete control. Completing the outsole are high-traction 3.5mm lugs, which have been optimised specifically for trail running, providing you exemplary grip across rocky and wet terrain.
