ZONE3 Lava Long Distance Women's Trisuit

Developed using the very best Italian and French materials to repel water, optimise aerodynamics and enhance comfort, the Lava Long Distance Tri Suit offers all-over comfort combined with performance during all three disciplines.

Every area and fabric used on the ZONE3 Lava Long Distance Tri Suit has been developed with speed in mind. The main material used in the construction of the suit is Aero-Stripe. An innovative striped material from Italy, the Aero-Stripe is located on the raglan sleeves and upper back to improve aerodynamics. This 50+ UPF textured material creates turbulence across the key boundary layers during high speeds on the bike, reducing drag and improving race times. As well as this, there is Aeroforce Soft-Touch, which is an innovative striped material from Italy located on the main front and upper back to improve aerodynamics. The material itself will also deliver a high amount of breathability. The lightweight material will allow a controlled release of air in and out of it. This will work over the course of a race to keep you feeling ventilated to a comfortable level. As you begin to sweat, the material will react to this by removing it from the skin and the fabric, which will help keep your pace up. A high-tech Nano water repellent coating reduces drag resistance in and out of the water. Improving your swim time, repelling sweat and keeping you drier and warmer if it rains. The material is also able to stretch in a wide range of different directions allowing complete mobility. The material has integrated leg grippers, which is a premium Italian design utilising natural gold fibres for improved comfort. This extended panel is bonded for optimum fit and drag resistance. The grippers keep the legs in place on the bike and run without an extra seam seen on most trisuits. This fabric is also highly breathable, moves moisture and is comfortable next to the body which allows a great fit.

Each fabric is positioned to improve performance, comfort and endurance to help you race faster. balanced compression is provided to the legs through the carefully designed panel shape. This improves muscle support and helps to increase the blood flow away from the legs, therefore reducing the amount of lactic acid build-up and helping to improve endurance and stamina. For comfort on the saddle, the trisuit has a women's specific Tri Comp pad. Designed by the pad manufacturer Cytech the perforated pad lamination delivers supreme breathability and quick-drying capabilities. The high-density foam gives more padding and protection when cycling and the central channelling in the perinea area is designed to offset pressure points. The high level of elasticity in the pad also maximises freedom of movement when swimming and running. Heat bonded sleeves will provide optimum fit and comfort to reduce drag which you would get if you had stitched seams. The comfortable fit design of the whole suit will keep you comfortable and streamlined throughout the swim, bike and run. With heat bonding and flat-locked stitching, this will ensure that you will always feel comfortable in all conditions. The flat-locked seam will also remove the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. A half-zip allows for easy on/off and heat venting when you need it and the double-lined upper gives greater coverage. In addition, the upper uses an optical white colour to help reflect the sun's heat. The zips on the trisuit have soft fabric which is used to cover up the inside of the zipper, preventing any discomfort and irritation on the chest. Completing the trisuit are nutrition storage pockets located on the back of the trisuit that have a heat-bonded cover, which will allow gels to be stored for easy access whilst on the bike or when running.
