Why Recycle Your Running Shoes
Every year, around 18 billion pairs of running shoes are sold, the equivalent of 2 pairs for every person on Earth. Millions of these shoes end up in landfill, despite many having a lot of life still in them, when there are millions of people who have no shoes and suffer terribly from sole diseases.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Jog On and Evri, to get these shoes to those who need them in 15 destinations around the world, and keep 1 million pairs of shoes out of landfill this year. So, look in that cupboard, garage, under the bed. They may be old to you, but Jog On will give them another chance with someone else.
