Upper - Engineered Support and Breathability

Enveloping the foot with support and comfort, the S/LAB Speed employs varying technologies to offer the best fit possible. Externally Sensifit technology is melded with the upper - A system designed to work with the lacing system to cradle the foot from the midsole through to the lacing - providing a stable, precise, snug fit. Moulded into the shoe and bonded with the upper to reduce components, excess bulk and weight, whilst improving comfort on the trail.

Working in unison with the Sesifit design, the internal structure of the S/LAB Speed makes use of Salomon's Endofit technology - Exclusive to Salomon, Endofit is an internal sleeve design that hugs the forefoot and improves feedback and foot wrapping. - Giving you greater support throughout your run.

One of the final components to the shoes precision fit technology, is the simple and user-friendly quick lace system. Quicklace is a single Kevlar string fed through friction free eyelets. As you pull, the lace closes evenly for a better fit, which delivers precision adjustment and a secure lock down. Finished with a lace pocket to neatly stash away any excess that may get in your way.

Locking out the various trail debris that can work its way to the internal environment of the shoe, a simple tongue cover stops debris from entering the shoe before it has the chance. Eliminating potential discomfort and irritation to the wearer.

Midsole - Improved First Contact and Long Distance Comfort

Offering supportive comfort whilst retaining a lightweight embodiment the midsole utilises a dual fusion of Salomon's proprietary compressed EVA and injected EVA. Forming a differentiating density - a denser foam to prevent medial collapse and a lightweight EVA for smooth cushioning and gait cycle transitioning. The formant assists with keeping weight down and maximising responsive underfoot cushioning.

Internally the S/LAB Speed sports an EVA moulded sockliner, an adaptive, malleable mould that provides excellent next to foot cushioning and anatomical support from your first mile to your list.
