adidas Terrex CMTK GORE-TEX Trail Running Shoes
Co-developed with the Continental mountain bike division, these men's shoes are made for trail runs and fast-paced hiking. The shoes feature a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX lining for all-weather wear, plus the grippy outsole is designed with the same lug profile as the Continental Mountain King bike tyre.
GORE-TEX Upper
Mesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. Abrasion-resistant weldings surround the shoe to increase its durability and reinforce its trail-worthy state. A TPU toe cap wraps the toes to defend them against roots, rocks and jagged terrain. The TPU heel clip helps to promote a firm fit; it anchors the foot to the midsole and reduces in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
EVA resides in the midsole to supply generous and durable cushioning. Light in weight and low in profile, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving terrain. Its close-to-the-ground position means proprioception is enhanced, so you get a better feel for what's underfoot when navigating uneven terrain.
Continental Rubber Outsole
A Continental Rubber outsole completes the Terrex CMTK (Continental Mountain King) GORE-TEX, supplying biting and resilient grip. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental Rubber offers traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you absolutely no excuse not to run. The outsole, designed from Mountain King bike tyres, uses deep lugs to provide aggressive, multi-directional grip across every ground.
