GORE-TEX Upper

Ripstop mesh uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoes, supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside, so sweat is kept to a minimum and you are kept cool and comfy. TPU overlays swathe the foot to improve support plus durability, resisting the traumas of rough ground and coarse wilderness, while a moulded TPU toe cap reinforces the Terrex Swift R2's trail-worthy state by defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards. This shoe's speed lacing construction makes for a quick but firm fit while its Lace Bungee stows laces to help avoid tangling.

EVA Midsole

A full-length platform of EVA resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long distance days. EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. A TPU midfoot support structure works to increase the shoe's torsional rigidity, preventing twisting and reducing risk of injury by creating a stable platform for you to tackle tricky terrain on.
