With the help of some of adidas' fastest long distance running athletes, the world record breaking Adizero Adios has been totally re-imagined.

Celermesh Upper

The upper of the Adizero Adios uses Adidas' developed Celermesh technology that will provide you with exceptional lightweight breathability. Air is easily able to enter and exit the shoes constantly, and this process will ensure that you will always feel ventilated no matter how hard your effort is. As you begin to sweat, the moisture is also able to escape out of the shoe, which will keep your feet feeling fresh and dry. The Celermesh construction is extremely lightweight, which will keep the overall weight of the shoe down to a minimum. This will mean that you will feel like you can push yourself further and faster than ever before. The mesh will also hug the feet, which will lock the feet in place for a more efficient stride. Thicker material surrounds the toes and the heel, providing protection from heavy forces and impacts. A traditional lacing system as well as a compression tongue system will provide you with a comfortable and secured fit.

Lightstrike Pro Midsole

Designed to provide complete comfort from the moment you put them on till the moment you take them off, the adidas Adizero Adios Running Shoes have been constructed using Lightstrike Cushioning. Lightstrike cushioning spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's. Working in tandem with lightstrike cushioning is a boost foam wedge which is embedded into the heel. The boost foam compound provides endless energy return from heel strike through to the toe-off phase of the gait cycle. It features hundreds of visible energy capsules that store and unleash endless energy every time your foot hits the ground, meaning that every step is charged. When your heel hits the floor, the boost particles compress and store kinetic energy; as you transition through to mid-stance, the boost particles relax and release their stored energy, which propels you forward with an explosive take off. Not just one Lightstrike midsole has been added to the Adios Pro, a second one containing carbon energy rods have been inspired by the natural bone structure of the foot. These energy rods are anatomically driven and guide the transition from heel to toe during the stance phase of running. Offering increased forefoot bending stiffness, the Adios Pro provides a smooth rolling during the guided transition. Completing the midsole is a redesigned torsion system which offers enhanced support on landing and a snappy transition as you surge ahead.

Rubber Outsole
