Celeramesh Upper
Constructed using a Celeramesh, the upper of the Adizero Pro provides an abundance of flexibility, breathability and support. The perforations within the fabric allow cool air to flow throughout the upper whilst, at the same time allowing hot humid air to escape. The mesh acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. Its construction creates a perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in, letting your feet breathe when the temperature starts to rise or your training session heats up. Ensuring a lightweight, locked-in feel the upper has been constructed using light and thin materials which provide minimal weight and maximum performance. Internal reinforcements have also been used on the upper to provide added structure and support. The reinforcements lock your foot into place for added stability on race day. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Boost Midsole
Developed to provide lightweight cushioning, the midsole of the Adizero Pro has been constructed using adidas' signature boost cushioning. adidas take cushioning to new heights, with their ultra-responsive midsole: Boost. Tiny TPU capsules are moulded together to form a platform that is different to standard, solid foams; absorbing energy and then expelling it back out for a bounce-like effect. This energy return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance; keeping you going for longer. The plush, responsive cushioning will spare your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving concrete. Boost also manages to maintain its special function and bounce in conditions as low as -20 degrees, making it a reliable, durable and hard-to-beat midsole. As well as this, the midsole also features lightstrike cushioning which spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces whilst also propelling you forward to provide you with explosive movement and enduring speed. The light and springy ride supports your feet through the gait cycle whilst remaining as lightweight as possible to ensure you can reach new PB's. Completing the midsole is a carbon plate that works to provide a smooth transition during the gait cycle. The plate supports your foot as you run and propels you forward to give you an extra spring in your step.
Continental Rubber Outsole
Developed using a continental rubber outsole, the adidas Adizero Pro Running Shoes ensure extraordinary traction in wet and dry conditions. Inspired by tyre technology, Continental rubber supplies traction on wet and dry surfaces, giving you no excuse not to run. Ensuring multi-directional grip the outsole ensures traction on varied terrain ensuring confident footing whether you're training or out for 10k. The durable rubber provides a strong grip on the most challenging terrain; it works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. As well as this, quickstrike dsp has also been used within the outsole to ensure lightweight traction during high speed running. The outsole is designed to be just as durable as the midsole, leaving you with a resilient, cushioned and grippy running shoe.
