Synthetic Mesh Upper
The synthetic mesh upper offers breathability and ventilation to keep your feet cool and dry. The mesh promotes effective moisture management by wicking away the build-up of excess sweat and moisture to leave you cool, dry and comfortable. In addition, the mesh encourages cool air to circulate and create a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The upper of the spike is also extremely lightweight which improves performance by minimising the bulk and maximising comfort. Textile lining keeps your feet secure when in the shoe. A padded tongue furthers the comfort and helps to guard against friction and irritation such as chafing. The traditional lacing system offers a locked-in feel.
adiPRENE+ Midsole
Located in the midsole is adidas' signature adiPRENE+ technology which delivers exceptional cushioning and comfort. As well as providing comfort, the midsole enhances shock absorption properties to reduce the impact placed upon your joints. This is ideal for bowlers running in and minimising gradual wear and tear or for batsmen constructing an innings, especially in a long match. The majority of adiPRENE's impact protection is located in the heel, with a smaller amount in the forefoot. The material found in the forefoot is more responsive, due to the need of providing an energised push off. This helps to maximise propulsion and deliver efficiency to keep you in control.
TPU Outsole
Optimal grip and traction are provided by the TPU outsole, to deliver a firm and assured footing, particularly on early season pitches when the weather is not as conducive as the peak of the season.
