The adidas Primeknit upper hugs your foot for a secure feel. Made from recycled materials, these shoes are part of adidas' commitment to end plastic waste.
PRIMEKNIT+ Upper
Crafted using adidas Primeknit+ textile the 4DFWD provides a sock-like fit allowing your foot to breathe freely on any run. The stretch upper offers outstanding comfort, made to move as you do so you can keep working for longer with superior comfort. This adidas Primknit+ upper works in tune with the midsole to give you the support you need for a smooth, effortless stride. Completing the upper is a tie lace closure allowing you to have the most secure fit for you. Made with Primegreen, a series of high-performance recycled materials; 50% of the upper is made from recycled content.
High Performance 4D Midsole
The 3D-printed 4D midsole transforms vertical pressure and redirects the energy forwards, making your gait feel more like a glide. It has been designed to control and create energy whilst providing high-performance comfort. Programmed with 17 years of athlete data, the midsole ensures stability, support, cushioning and comfort as you power through your workout. A heel zone provides optimum cushioning which works to absorb impacts and shocks. When the heel strikes the ground the added cushioning disperses shocks, reducing the impact on the foot and allowing you to remain injury-free for longer. Additionally, the forefoot zone is structured to enhance forward motion. When your toes hit the track this forefoot zone helps to propel you forward, increasing energy and allowing you to achieve new personal bests. Lastly, a transition zone ensures a smoother heel to toe transition for a more dynamic ride.
Rubber Traction Outsole
Designed to work in harmony with the upper and midsole the rubber outsole provides superior traction on wet and dry surfaces; giving you no excuse not to run. The traction support also lessens the impact on the feet helping to reduce unnecessary injuries whilst on the move. The use of rubber on the outsole adds durability to the 4DFWD allowing the sole to last longer by reducing the wear to the sole.
