Bone conduction is a natural part of the hearing process-sound travels through our eardrums and bones simultaneously. Aftershokz have taken the concept to the next level through the development of a suite of proprietary audio technologies and design patents, using Transducers to guide mini vibrations through the cheekbones to the inner ears, delivering sound without plugging or covering them. The result: headphones that deliver unrivalled situational awareness and comfort.

The new organic design uses complete wraparound titanium. This provides a flexible fit which allows the headset to fit effortlessly around the head for unnoticeable all-day comfort. This model is 20% that its counterpart which allows it to sit against the head and be almost entirely unnoticeable, preventing the risk of distraction. The OpenFit design ensures the user maximized situational awareness. This makes activities such as biking, climbing and running much safer without having the sacrifice having earphones entirely.

Natural sound leakage is a common drawback found with most headphones and earbuds, especially at high volumes. LeakSlayer was designed to release sound generated by the transducers in order to cancel sound generated by the housing, significantly reducing leakage, even when compared to traditional headphones and earbuds.

The Air is IP55 certified. This means that the fabrics which have been specifically chosen will allow the headset to repel sweat, dust and moisture. This will help to prevent the headset from sliding and moving as the wearer trains, preventing misplacement, distraction and reduced volume.

The dual noise cancelling microphone excludes surrounding sounds which will improve how effectively the headset picks up the users commands. Ths 'Audrey Says' feature allows the user to speak into the headset to change things without having to use their hands. E.g. the 'Audrey Says' feature can play music and change music.
