Quick-Dry Air Mesh Upper
Quick drying air mesh encases each foot in breathable comfort. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, sucking in cool, fresh air while at the same time pushing out hot, muggy air. This system creates a microclimate within the shoes that allows you to feel comfortable throughout the run. Lightweight and breathable allows a more streamlined, comfortable run to reduce any unwanted bulk so you maintain focus.
In addition to the mesh, the upper features welded overlays that help provide a more stable and secure fit, The overlays work in unison with the laces and when tightening the laces the upper forms to the foot and creates a more stable structure. The overlays add durability but at the same time prevent any chafing or discomfort that is caused by stitching that you would find on a traditional running shoe.
As you start to tire and fatigue kicks in during the longer runs, the new Guiderail really starts to earn its place. The Guiderail works to keep your foot in the most natural position possible, preventing the early stages of overpronation. The footshape technology allows the toes to be relaxed and allows them to spread out naturally with the big toe remaining in a straight position for additional comfort, speed and stability.
Ultralight EVA Midsole
The ultralight EVA resides in the midsole for lightweight cushioning and comfort. Having the cushioning enables you to efficiently propel through the gait cycle for a more responsive ride. The Plush, EVA cushioning reduces the wear and tear placed on joints, lessening the potential risk of injury in susceptible areas. An A-Bound top layer provides great cushioning but tremendous energy return.
Helping you throughout the run is the Varus stabiliwedge that slopes from the medial side to the lateral side to enhance comfort and prevent overpronation. In addition, the stabilipod is constructed of three stability-enhancing zones that act as a tripod throughout your run to help prevent excessive foot collapse or excessive pronation.
Footpod Outsole
The footpod is an outsole technology that actually maps the bones and tendons of your foot to help it bend and move naturally. Blown rubber has been used in the construction of the outsole to deliver optimal grip and traction, to give a firm, assured footing and a full, unrestricted range of motion.
