Breathable Knit Upper

Surrounding the upper of the Vali is a sleek knit upper that will comfortably encase the feet, whilst allowing a constant flow of air in and out of it. Warm air that builds up within the shoes will easily be able to escape out of the shoe, where it is then replaced by cooler air from the outside. This will work over prolonged periods of time to keep you feeling ventilated and comfortable in all conditions and activities. The upper will also wick surface moisture away, which can be from rainfall, or from sweat. This will mean that you will always have a lightweight and comfortable feel. The shoe uses Altra's Footshape Toe Box technology, which will allow the toes to naturally spread out. This will give you more comfort and stability, especially during climbs and descents. The foot is protected by a firm case that runs around it, which will absorb shocks, preventing them from reaching the sole of the foot. An easily secured lacing system will make it easy to find a comfortable and personalised fit. The ankle collar is elastic in its nature, which will further make it feel personalised.

Premium EVA Midsole

A premium EVA midsole will ensure that you will always feel comfort when running or walking. The EVA is cushioned, which will mean that on every step it will compress, taking pressure off joints like the knees and the ankles. This will mean that the repetitive impacts won't cause any pain or discomfort, as the full force of each step will be taken away from you. For further protection from injury and pain on your run, the midsole will also absorb shocks from the path below. Should you step on a rock, or have a heavy contact with the ground, the EVA will absorb this, making the impact on the sole of the foot feel less. The energy is dispersed evenly to keep you comfortable and without any painful distractions. As you go through your gait, the midsole will act as a springboard by rebounding your feet, push you on further and faster for quicker times. The shoes use Altra's Balance Cushioning Platform, which places your heel and forefoot the same distance to the ground, making it have a drop of 0. This will encourage low impact throughout your run, keeping your feet feeling comfortable and able to handle the continuous rhythm or running over a long period of time. A Bloom foam insole will provide you with next to skin comfort, as well as working to wick moisture away from the feet for a fresh and comfortable feel within the shoes.

Durable Rubber Outsole

For a clean and firm contact with a wide range of different surfaces, the Vali has a durable rubber outsole, which will keep you firmly in control. The rubber will naturally grip firmly, which will secure you in a strong upright position, controlling you as you run. Grooves in the outsole will also mean that you are further anchored in a strong position to push on from, especially on wet ground. The outsole has horizontal lines that run across the outsole, which can stretch to offer you more flexibility as you run. The rubber is abrasion resistant, meaning that it will stand up against abuse from hard surfaces over a long period of time.
