Breathable Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper construction also features foot-shape comfort which allows the toes to remain relaxed within the shoe. It allows them to spread out naturally with the big toe remaining in a straight position for additional comfort, speed, and stability. An updated heel construction ensures a secure and comfortable fit so you can go further for longer. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Altra EGO Midsole
The Provision 7 has an EGO midsole to increase the cushioning and durability of the midsole. The midsole contains many areas with features that provide the shoe with extremely responsive rebound and cushioning, as well as the standard EVA that also protects and rebounds. The cushioning sits directly underneath the foot, which reduces ground impact, returning the energy as a spring for each step that you take. A guide rail provides increased support when and where you need it the most. This allows the feet to have a more natural alignment with the ground and provides you with added stability so you can run faster and further for longer. The midsole also includes INNERFLEX, gird-like grooves in the midsole that allow your foot to flex whilst still being light on your feet ensuring more speed and better performance. Finally, the midsole features a balance cushioning platform that allows the feet to have a more natural alignment with the ground and provides you with added stability so you can run faster and further for longer.
FootPod Outsole
The Provision 7 features an outsole technology that actually maps the bones and tendons of your foot to help it bend and move naturally. Furthermore, the outsole offers stabilipod technology that acts as a stabilising tripod by enhancing the three natural stability zones in your foot to help prevent excessive foot collapse or pronation. Lastly, the outsole offers a durable rubber compound that enhances durability as well as traction, perfect for getting the best performances when road running.
