Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed with a breathable mesh upper, the Altra Timp 5 delivers a snug fit with maximum breathability. The multi-directional mesh offers a sleek ride as the mesh is engineered to move and flex with you no matter where your run may take you; rocks, roots and debris will be no match as the Timp 5 will have you floating over them with ease. Cool air is encouraged to permeate the fabric to remove uncomfortable heat creating a healthy environment where feet can thrive. A GORE-TEX waterproof membrane also resides in the upper which works to keep feet dry from wet and changing weather, by preventing water from entering the garment, helping to reduce the risks of wet, soggy feet. Altra's FootShape fit encourages the toes to relax and spread naturally, allowing the big toe to remain straight. The FootShape toe box enhances stability during uphill climbs and downhill descents when out on challenging trails whilst creating powerful toe-offs to maximise performance. The soft padded tongue will feel soft against the ankle while GaiterTrap attachment points enable you to add a gaiter to the shoes, acting as a shield to prevent dirt and debris from entering and causing discomfort. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks the midfoot for a more secure feel and provides a secure grip on the foot over an extremely long period.
