ASICS HyperSprint 7 Running Spikes
Get your sprint on with the ASICS HyperSprint 7. Faux leather offers exceptional lockdown in the forefoot to the midfoot area while the resin plate improves propulsion and grip to give you everything you need for high-velocity sprints. This is the ideal shoe for sprinters seeking lightweight performance for 60m to 200m events.
Faux Leather Upper
The upper of the HyperSprint 7 has been constructed using a faux leather material to provide optimal durability, comfort and protection. The resilient material is extremely light in weight without sacrificing performance to give you the opportunity to reach your top speeds, time and time again. In comparison to typical mesh constructions, the faux leather offers improved lockdown in both the forefoot and the midfoot area. Additionally, no-sew films have been implemented within the upper to guard against friction and irritation such as chafing as you sprint.
A padded tongue sits comfortably against the skin, offering a nice, next-to-skin feel when running. Ventilation holes are situated throughout the tongue to encourage cool air to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Furthermore, a traditional lacing system enables a secure, locked-in fit and feel. Rounding off the upper is a removable sock liner, which can be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic.
EVA Midsole / Pebax Outsole
EVA sits under the heel to supply comfortable protection at heel-strike. Lightweight and resilient, it spares your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving track surfaces. A Pebax spike plate stretches out underfoot to optimise flexibility while maximising durability, creating a robust platform of propulsion. Solid rubber covers the heel to supply durable grip, resisting the traumas of heel-strike to provide you with a reliable and long-lasting race buddy. Five removable spikes supply biting grip across every ground.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
