Mesh Upper
The ASICS Gel-Contend 4 GS Junior Running Shoe is constructed with a mesh upper which offers a breathable environment for the feet, keeping them feeling cool and dry during activities. The synthetic overlays placed on top of the mesh adds durability and support to the feet. Designed with a traditional lace-up closure, it ensures quick and easy lace-up, while the padded collar and tongue provide step-in plush comfort, reducing the risk of irritation and discomfort. A reinforced stitched toe cap is used for added durability as we know kids can easily damage and scuff their shoes.
Rearfoot Gel Midsole
For all-day comfort, the midsole is equipped with a removable Ortholite sockliner which offers the ultimate in comfort, cushioning and breathability. They solve the most common in-shoe problems by creating a cooler, drier, and healthier foot environment with innovative technology. The sockliner can also be removed to accommodate a medical orthotic. Placed in the forefoot of the midsole is the Gel Cushioning System which provides cushioning in all directions, absorbs impact forces and helps to stabilise the foot during heel contact, resulting in a smoother ride and less stress being placed upon the wearer's joints.
Solid Rubber Outsole
