Engineered Jacquard Mesh Upper

The engineered mesh upper encases your foot in breathable comfort. The specialist design delivers advanced ventilation, with micro perforations that work hard to push out heat, vapour and moisture, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to flow in and circulate for a pleasant cooling sensation. The forgiving fit and soft fabric construction create the ultimate comfortable environment for your feet, allowing toes to flex naturally and feeling pleasant on. A traditional lacing system anchors the shoe to the foot securely and adjustably, for the perfect custom fit that will give you better control and stability.

Amplifoam Midsole with Gel Technology

The Midsole of the Gel-Pulse 13 contains ASICS' groundbreaking AmpliFoam technology. Designed to work with all 33 joints in the foot, this technology provides soft cushioning that helps keep your feeling healthy and happy. The Amplifoam unit is engineered to maintain durability at softer densities, providing better flexibility, comfort and platform adaptability - ideal for natural running. Lightweight and resilient, Amplifoam spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. Further embedded within this platform is the Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System. This technology works to reduce shock during the impact phase, sparing your joints as you sprint down onto hard, unforgiving terrain and allowing for a peaceful transition to mid-stance. Guidance line technology within the midsole to increases gait efficiency, so you experience less fatigue and less energy is wasted. The vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression to provide a smooth transition through the gaitcycle. Completing the midsole is an ortholite sockliner which increases underfoot comfort and provides effective moisture management.

AHAR Plus Outsole

Supreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHAR outsole. ASICS' high abrasion rubber is made with a tough rubber compound, which is used in heavy-contact or high wear areas to help keep the shoe strong wear, after wear, after wear. This high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. Strategically positioned in critical areas of the outsole, this exceptionally durable compound is 50% more durable than standard ASICS High Abrasion Rubber, for maximum protection and durability. Creating a strong bond with the ground beneath it, the outsole allows you to stay in full control at all times. Flex grooves also adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot, allowing for natural foot flexion - for easy, unhindered paces.
