ASICS Patriot 12 Running Shoes

Designed to help runners go further, the Patriot 12 running shoe features a bouncy and cushioned underfoot feeling. This shoe is complemented with a breathable mesh upper to promote better airflow and help feet stay cooler over the course of your run.

Mesh Upper

The upper of the ASICS Patriot 12 is made with a lightweight mesh. This is covered in micro-perforations, which allow heat, moisture and vapour to escape, whilst simultaneously encouraging fresh air to enter and circulate for a pleasant cooling sensation. Reduced weight overlays add lightweight support and structure, helping the shoes to keep their shape and stay durable over long term use. An internal heel counter secures the heel and rearfoot in place for improved stability and a locked-in feel that inspires confident strides. The traditional lacing system helps anchor the shoe to foot further, for improved control.

EVA Midsole

EVA technology resides through the midsole of the Patriot 12's, supplying you with a sponge-like bouncy cushioning. The midsole works to provide soft cushioning for comfortable strides, making it a great shoe for runners with neutral pronation. The shock-absorbing midsole helps to prevent injuries and spares your joints, thanks to the soft landing created from the EVA technology. Not only this but the midsole ensures you remain light on your feet, with a natural snappy response, therefore providing you with fewer distractions and a more preferable ride.

Moulded Rubber Outsole

An excellent durability offering, the integration of a moulded rubber outsole delivers additional support that stems from the internal heel counter to help the feet stay aligned over long distances. The rubber outsole is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and grip on road surfaces. This durability and traction enable you to run with complete confidence, knowing your shoes will keep you grounded at all times. As well as this, the rubber outsole is highly durable to ensure long-lasting wear. The durable nature of the rubber will not wear down easily, so you can go further for longer with complete confidence. Completing the outsole are flex grooves which assist with grip and form a solid base to push from. The grooves allow the whole of the outsole to naturally flex where the foot flexes to increase comfort as well as performance.
