Synthetic Mesh Upper
The upper of the Trail Scout 2's are Synthetic Mesh fabric. As you begin to exercise, the body begins to warm. As the feet have many small working muscles in them, the feet start to expand and warm up. As a result, the air inside the shoes will also warm to an uncomfortable level. However, the mesh surrounding the upper of the shoe will immediately step into action, allowing the air within it to escape out. The hot air is then replaced by cooler air from outside, and this will work constantly to provide you with exceptional breathability. Moisture from sweat is also able to escape out of the shoe, whilst liquid on the surface of the material is wicked away instantly, returning the shoes to their lightweight feel. A traditional lacing system will allow you to find a firm and comfortable fit all the way up the feet, guaranteeing a personalised and non-restrictive fit. A padded tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation from rubbing, whilst it will also enhance comfort.
Injection EVA Midsole
Supplemented with a removable, moulded sock liner, EVA in the midsole provides lightweight cushioning and underfoot comfort. Embedded within this midsole platform is a Rearfoot GEL Cushioning System; implemented to attenuate shock, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The energy created by the gait cycle within the midsole is then returned as rebound, giving you an added spring in your step, pushing you on further and faster.
Durable Rubber Outsole
Keeping you firmly in control on the trails, the rubber outsole forms a solid connection with a wide range of different surfaces. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, which will protect itself over a long period of time, whilst maintaining its high level of performance. Deep lugs will dig into the wet ground, further anchoring the feet in place, which will help with transitions like takeoffs and landings. The redesigned outsole pattern improves durability and provides excellent grip on off-road surfaces, so you can go further than ever before.
